What the treatment involves
Clear aligners are thin, removable trays that move your teeth a fraction of a millimetre at a time. You wear each set for one to two weeks, take them out to eat and brush, and most people around you will not notice them.
Every aligner course at Northlight starts with a free consult with Dr Iona Craddock. We take a 3D scan — no putty — and show you a simulation of how your teeth would move and roughly how long it would take. You leave with the scan, the simulation and a written price. There is no follow-up call unless you ask for one.
The price is whole. It covers every aligner, every refinement if your teeth need extra time, your check-ins and your first two sets of retainers. One arch, usually the lower front teeth, starts at £1,900. Both arches start at £2,600. Anything over £500 can be spread over ten months at 0%.
Aligners only work if you wear them — around twenty-two hours a day. We will be honest at the consult if your lifestyle makes that unlikely.
Retainers are the part people skip and regret. We make them from your final scan and ask you to wear them at night for as long as you want straight teeth.

Common questions
Do you fit fixed braces?
No. If fixed braces would genuinely give you a better result, we will say so and refer you to an orthodontist we trust.
What happens if the aligners do not finish the job?
Refinements — extra aligners to finish off — are included in the price. You do not pay again if your teeth need longer.
