15 years on Harbour Parade

Dr Iona Craddock opened Northlight in 2011 after years of watching patients apologise for their own teeth. The rules she started with still run the place: talk before anything happens, show people what we see, and write the price down first.

Check-ups
“I had not seen a dentist in nine years and was genuinely scared. Nobody asked why. I left with a plan, a price and a date, and I laughed in the lift.”
Priya M.Patient since 2024
Check-ups
“They put the X-ray on the screen and just explained it. No lecture, no upsell. I finally understood my own mouth.”
Tom R.Patient since 2019
Aligners
“The quote on day one was the exact number I paid, refinements and all. Eleven months later my bottom teeth are straight and I wear the retainer every night.”
Dana K.Aligners, 2025
Cosmetic
“Dr Craddock talked me out of veneers and into two bits of bonding. It cost a fraction and nobody can tell which teeth.”
Sophie L.Bonding, 2025
Emergency
“Rang at 8:40 with my face swollen, was in the chair by 10. The £85 came off the root canal, exactly as the website said.”
Callum B.Emergency, 2026
Cosmetic
“Take-home whitening, two weeks, no sensitivity to speak of. They warned me my front filling would not change and offered to redo it. It was the right call.”
Hannah O.Whitening, 2026

Questions we hear every week

Are you taking new patients?

Yes. New patients are usually seen within five working days, and the first visit is a £59 exam with photographs, X-rays if needed and a written plan. You can pick a time online.

Are you an NHS practice?

No, Northlight is private, which is why every price is published on this site. If you would prefer NHS care, we will say so plainly and point you to the local list.

Can I get a quote before I commit to anything?

Yes. Every exam ends with a written, itemised quote you take home. It does not expire, the number is fixed once agreed, and nothing starts without your yes.

Do you offer payment plans?

Anything over £500 can be spread across ten months at 0%, arranged at the front desk the same day. Longer terms on treatment over £2,000 carry interest, which we show in pounds.

What if I need to cancel?

Give us 24 hours’ notice and there is no charge. With less, we may ask for half the appointment fee because the slot usually cannot be filled.
